When do I need to RSVP?
Check back soon. This will be communicated once official invites are sent.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Our celebration will follow a formal / black‑tie‑optional dress code, and we kindly ask guests to choose attire that feels polished and formal. Classic, refined looks will complement both venues.
Men are encouraged to wear a dark, well‑tailored suit with a tie, while a tuxedo is welcome for anyone who prefers a more traditional black‑tie look.
For women, evening gowns or other formal attire are most appropriate for the setting.
Think elevated and elegant — an overall style that matches the spirit of the day. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best for the celebration. If you have any questions, please email us.
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available at both venues: Complimentary parking at the Cathedral and $15 self‑parking or $18 valet at the Detroit Athletic Club.
Is there a hotel block?
Yes! We have a room block at the Detroit Athletic Club. Please email us for details. You’ll also find additional hotel options listed on our Accommodations page.
Can I bring a guest?
We kindly ask that guests follow the number of attendees listed on their invitation. If you’re unsure on your guest count, in relationship or have a special request regarding a plus‑one, please email us and let us know.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, our celebration will be adults‑only, with the exception of immediate family and children participating in the ceremony. Our guest list is limited to those included on each invitation. If you have a special request or need, please email us and we’ll be happy to talk it through as we want all of you there celebrating with us!
Are there different food options?
Absolutely! We’ll have multiple options for your main course, and you’ll be able to choose your meal when you complete your RSVP.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
No problem at all. When you make your dinner selection on the RSVP form, just note your dietary restriction and we’ll take care of it.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We’ll have an open bar all night. Sip, sample, and celebrate — just keep it responsible so everyone has a great time.
Is there an after party?
Yes! We’re hosting an after party in The Abbey, the private bowling alley inside the Detroit Athletic Club. Expect beer, wine, late‑night snacks, music, and bowling in a relaxed setting — a great way to wind down the night together. Socks and shoes will be provided.
Can I take pictures?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present and our photographers can capture the moment without distraction. Photos and videos are welcome during the reception — we’d love for you to enjoy and document the celebration with us.
Where is your registry?
We’ve created one unified registry that brings all of our items together in a single place for easy browsing. You’ll find the full list on our Registry page, along with fee‑free options. We will also have a card box at the wedding.
